While this program can't duplicate the full capabilities of a 20 million dollar sim, I have found Pro Flight Simulator, is by far the best pc
flight simulator for the price and the easiest way to experience Real Flying, hands down! I use this program on my
downtime or when I may be flying into one of the 20,000 airports this program has in it's database.
Several of my students also use ProFlight Simulator and it offers excellent training when money gets a little
tight for a real lesson in the aircraft!

FlightProSim, Flightgear, Microsoft Flight X
There are several choices when it comes to Flight Simulator programs. ProFlight Simulator, FlightProSim,
Flightgear,and Microsoft Flight X are the most popular. But how do you choose the program that will give you the
best deal and more importantly the realism of true flight?
Microsoft Flight X has been in the flight sim game for many years, and I started out using Microsoft Flight
simulator when it first was released many years ago. Back then it was the only program of it's kind and was the
best you had. Flight X is the latest and really has some incredible detail in it's aircraft and scenery, but I
found it was limited in the choice of aircraft available and was very taxing on my computer system which slowed
down the action. The files are extremely large, and you really need a newer computer with a lot of memory and disk
space to run it, which may not be a problem for most people nowadays but just a heads-up.
As far as Flightgear and FlightProSim go, and despite some positive reviews, FlightProSim just didn't measure
up. In fact, I couldn't get FlightProSim to run on my system. FlightProSim was completely laggy and it crashed more
often than not, which was very frustrating...think of a YouTube video that stops to load several times!!
ProFlight Simulator on the other hand, has a new 3.0 custom
launcher that makes choosing a new aircraft and mission much faster than the competition. It is compatible
with multiple operating systems and supports more hardware configurations then the competition does, and
delivers smooth, non-stop visuals, without bogging down.

Another cool feature of Pro Flight Sim is real-time synchronization. This feature lets you fly in exactly the
same situation as when you are flying in real life. For example, if its a rainy afternoon in San Fransisco right
